A very late Birthday haul and other stuff....

Firstly sorry for the lack of posts lately, although i do have good reason for going blog awol for a month. I've been busy moving to a new place, and now i've got my internet sorted and i'm (mostly) unpacked i thought i'd start with a birthday/collective haul type thing.

It was my Birthday on August the 8th, and i turned 25...eek! I got some lovely things, and there may be a long time until the next haul, seeing as im spending all my spare cash on household things lately (I did really need that hot pink bin, and matching washing up bowl!).
So here goes...


First up this really cute Me & Zena necklace

This is the Clinique gift that came with the below face wash and high impact mascara.

A load of Sleek pout paints, i love these and plan to post a review soon.

Some pressed powder from Mac, as well as beauty marked eyeshadow, and a lipgloss.

Some goodies from a trip to Superdrug.

A Tokidoki for Smashbox eyeshadow quad, and Benefit concealer set, and a perfume from M&S called Butterfly that smells of watermelon yum!

Shower gels from The Body Shop- as you can see i can't get enough of these. My favourite is satsuma.

And how could i call this a haul without some Hello Kitty!?

And, finally a Paul's Boutique bag called 'Jackie'. It is absolutely huge, and very lovely.

Lip Stains: Gosh Vs Revlon

Gosh long lasting lip marker (£6.99)
These come in a choice of 4 shades- i got the shade berry which is a deep pink shade. I like the packaging for this, and the product itself has a nice sweet smell and taste unlike most lip stains. This is easy to use and goes on fairly nicely but despite the name, this just doesn't last & needs constant reapplying. 3/5

Revlon Just Bitten (£7.99 approx)
These come in a choice of (i think) 7 shades- i got gothic which is a rosy red. This has that lipstain smell (like nail polish remover) and when you first put it on it doesn't taste very nice, but it goes on really evenly. It lasts a lot longer than the Gosh one, and the great thing about this is that it has a lipbalm at the other end. Which will stop the stain from drying out you're lips. Overall i prefer this one. 4/5

More new things...

A few more new bits i've got lately. Some accessories from ASOS, including a leather cuff from the mens section (the mens jewellery is way better), and a pretty Oasis rose headband.

From Primark.

A headband from Boots interesting (but stupidly overpriced) new jewellery collection, and the 17 crackle topcoat.

George at Asda have revamped their makeup so i bought a couple if things out of curiousity- a tinted moisturiser- Hint of Tint (£4), and cheek stain- Cheeky Tint! (£2.50)

In Superdrugs i stocked up on more lip products (as if i need any more...) the New Sleek Pout Polish Sugar May, Revlon's new Just Bitten in Gothic, Gosh's new lip marker in berry, and a Gosh lipstick in shocking coral.

After being stupidly impressed with the previous 2 i bought i got some more MUA eyeshadows (£1 each)

And lastly i bought the Kawaii edition from the Japanese Street Style collection from Harajuku Lovers perfume. It's very adorable.
