New Things...
Here are some new things...
I picked up these gel eyeliners from the Topshop make up range in the sale- it cost £5 for all 3- which is a lot more reasonable than the usual prices which are stupidly high.
In Boots Collection 2000 make up was 2 for £5. I got the supersize fat lash mascara (which so far is disappointing), and an extreme felt tip eyeliner in purple (which is really good!). I also bought the new 17 mascara falsifeye which for a drugstore mascara is quite impressive. It also came with a pot of black gel liner.

Fruity Fashion!
To continue on a theme, i am very much enjoying this Summers trend of fruity fashion. Bold and colourful prints, and fun, and quirky accessories. I especially love the banana leggings!

My new favourite blush...
The pigment is really nice, and the texture is lovely and soft. It lasts as long as any other blusher, and the best bit is there are no chunks of glitter or horrible shimmer- which tends to be usual for cheap blushers.
You get 9g of products for the crazily cheap price of a £1. As far as i know this is the only shade available.

Some new things
Here are a few new things i've bought recently...
From the Mac Wonder Woman collection i bought a lipstick in Russian Red- it's my favourite shade of red so i thought i'd get it while it was in the Wonder Woman packaging seeing as i'm a bit of a comic book nerd :)
I also took advantage of the Clinique giveaway in Glamour magazine- i got the lipstick, moisturiser, moisture surge, and all about eyes (which i already love).

New Things...
Here are some new things...
I picked up the new Molten Metal compact from Sleek. I wasn't going to bother with this until i swatched it- it's lovely. I'm looking forward to testing this against my Illamasqua liquid metal. Gosh was also having a sale, so i got a liner and 2 effects powders for £2.49 each.
In Boots 17 make up is on 3 for 2. They have some new mascara's i was interested in trying- Wild Curls, and Photo Flawless which has a 'twist of pearlescent colour to brighten eyes' mine is in black copper. I also got an eyeshadow trio.I cannot recommend their eyeshadows enough. Particularly for the price.
Also in Boots, there was an offer on Models Own- 3 for £10. I got 2 nail polishes in Jade Stone, and Golden Peach, and a lipstick in Coral which is amazingly bright. I also got a Maybelline nail polish in Flash Cosmic which is a pearly white with blue sparkles in.

A little review of Primarks Whiplash Volume & Curl Mascara...

I was in Primark the other day having a nose around when i saw a huge stand jam packed full of their new product: a mascara offering volume and curl. I've never ever tried any of the Primark make up, but for some reason chucked it in my basket out of curiousity. For £2 it was no big loss if it was rubbish (which i was fully expecting).
Which is why i probably should eat my words because shockingly i'm really impressed with it! It does create huge volume, and a nice curl. It lasts all day, doesn't smudge, and is easy to remove. How can this be! I don't understand it!
So, although you can feel the formula obviously isn't as good as the high end brands, this mascara can definitely give the high street brands a run for their money. A nice suprise and compete and utter bargain- i would recommend giving this one a try.

Things i've bought lately
Here are just some things i've bought over the last couple of weeks. I haven't really been spending much, but i'm always on the lookout for a bargain.
Predictably i got the Sleek Sunset palette (probably along with everyone else), and the colours are lovely. I also bought 2 of their eye dusts to try. They had an impressive selection of colours and the were only £2.93 each.I chose Hypnotic which is a midnight blue, and Fantasy which is purple. I'm looking forward to giving these a go. I also picked up a Collection 2000 Glam Crystals glitter liner. I have heard so many good things about these liners and they are so cheap at £2.93 each. They have so many colours to choose from, but i fell for 11 shake it up which is the most beautiful blueish purple.
I also ordered online an Bourjois Vintage Collection little round pot set. This is basically 3 of their eyeshadows with a vintage design on the packaging- that's why i got it.... they just look so cute!
I stopped in Primark to have a look at their makeup range, i wanted to see if they had anything interesting. The only thing that caught my eye were these nail polishes, i got a nice grape colour, and a 2 pack of a green, and a really pretty glitter top coat. Both were a £1 each, i've never tried their cosmetics before but i thought i'd give them a go.
Again very predicatably i bought the Sleek Graphite palette, and also some little pots to empty my UDPP into because the packaging is awful.
I found a real bargain in TK Maxx. I am a HUGE fan of Lancome eyeshadows, and i found this quad 105 renaissance a lovely selection of smokey greens (and current season) for £9.99. I also went into Boots to get the Limited Edition No.7 Opulance Highlighter (£13) from the Christmas Collection. I have a thing for limited edition No.7 stuff and i thought the packaging looked so pretty. I was planning ongetting the eye palette as well, but on seeing itin the shop i changed my mind. Well done me :)
