Fruity Fashion!

To continue on a theme, i am very much enjoying this Summers trend of fruity fashion. Bold and colourful prints, and fun, and quirky accessories. I especially love the banana leggings!

Some new things

Here are a few new things i've bought recently...

From the Mac Wonder Woman collection i bought a lipstick in Russian Red- it's my favourite shade of red so i thought i'd get it while it was in the Wonder Woman packaging seeing as i'm a bit of a comic book nerd :)

I also took advantage of the Clinique giveaway in Glamour magazine- i got the lipstick, moisturiser, moisture surge, and all about eyes (which i already love).

I got a models own nail colour in Beths Blue which is a really pretty greyish-lilac-blue. Whilst in Tesco i found a bargain nail polish for £1.12- its Barbara Daly and the shade is Lustre. It's a very pretty pearly nude, with sparkles. As well as that i got a Collection 2000 blue mascara for £1.99.

In Dorothy Perkins i bought some very nice hair bows. And from ASOS i ordered an Illamasqua powder blush in Expose which is a lovely peachy orange colour. (sorry terrible pic!)

Lastly i got this lovely little basket bag from primark, which will be great for Spring/Summer.

A little shopping trip

So yesterday, me and my sister decided to have a wonder round the shops and enjoy the beautiful weather before going back and spending the afternoon making jelly shots for a party...
Anyway, here's what i bought:

I LOVE the jewellery at River Island. I love anything big, chunky, colourful, unusual, or strange. So when i saw this bracelet it was love at first sight!

I also got this really cute ring, which is lovely and sparkly :)

Next up i went to Dorothy Perkins and got this adorable bow ring. I particulary like the plastic rings like this because the metal ones always make my fingers go green... :/

And then i spied this beauty. It was in the sale for£2 and is huge! is a combination of ring/ weapon and i love it.

As you can see it hides most of my hand when worn haha.

I am obsessed with Hello Kitty, and found some cute sunglasses in a bargain shop for £1.99. I have a bit of a thing for heart shaped sunglasses.

And lastly me and my sister decided to go pick'n'mix mad. I can't remeber thelast timei got pick'n'mix. My favourite are the Spanish Peaches....yum!

A tiny little spree

Well, i'm trying really hard to be good but seeing as payday has rolled round i couldn't let it pass without buying a few bits. Although i'm supposed to be having a spending ban and have technically failed after one day i have spent a lot less than normal.... (this is a terrible excuse to ease my conscience. Humour me!)

I wanted to buy some nice heels for Saturday night as i was going out, but didn't want to spend a lot. I saw these ruby red kitten heels in Asda for £12 and thought they'd be perfect. I am useless at walking in heels and these are a cute little heel which is managable for me :)

Also in Asda i found some cute glittery pink heart shape earrings which were half price so cost just £1.50, and a supercute velvety hairband with sequin covered cat ears on from the halloween section. I love this!! it was just £2. As well as that i got a red and pink beaded Snow White bracelet to please my inner child (£3).
Then in Dorothy Perkins i got another bargain- a huge chunky silver ring which was half price costing £3.50,and in River Island a gold necklace with chunky lettering reading 'love'. This cost £7.99 and i was probably a bit naughty getting it, but i know i'll wear this loads.
Last week i also got my Avon order, which in my defence i'd ordered a while back-before 'The Spending Ban'. I got a lipstick in 'apricot glow' which i've been wearing a lot and love the colour. I got a cuticle balm which is in a very cute little tin, and a 3 in 1 colour stick in shimmering bronze. This can be used on the lips, eyes, and as a bronzer. I've tried it on my own lips and the colour just doesn't work at all, although the formulation is nice and creamy. I'll try it as an eyeshadow base i think...
