Some nice things i've bought...

Just some nice things i've bought lately...

I picked up the new Sleek palette from Superdrug (£4.99) called Bohemian. I think the colour combination for this one is a little strange- a lot more incohesive the the other palettes. But nevertheless very pretty, and great quality. I especially like the metallic bronze, and red colours.


I also got the Cyndi Lauper Mac Viva Glam lipstick. I love the colour! It's a beautiful soft dusky rosey red. Perfect if you find a full on red lip intimidating. It has a really lovely mositurising texture as well, and of course it's for a great cause.

As i got a new phone recently i decided it was time to get some new phone charms :) So i got a load of super cute things from toytoyjac.co.uk which are great if you love kawaii things. I found out about this website from a youtube video by Foundonfilm. Now i've just gotthe tough decision of which ones to put on my phone..

And lastly, i got the full set of mini ribbon gloss tins from Pop Beauty.I love Pop Beauty products, and have always found them to be of good quality. I like them for the bright colours, and fun packaging.

The lip glosses themselves come in an array of pretty colours ranging from sheer to highly pigmented. They all smell of coconut as well :) the tins are nice and cute, and perfect to pop in your bag.

Some Saturday spending...

So, it was Saturday and i went to the shops...

I got some cute little Hello Kitty tins that have mints in (2 for£4 Claire's) the mints are actually in the shape of little bows haha. I also got a lip balm tin (£1.99) and crazy glittery spring eyeshadow quad (3.99) from H&M to satisfy my Hello Kitty obsession.

At Tesco i picked up a Barbara Daly mascara. All their make up is 1/3 off at the monent, and everything i've so far had from this brand has been brilliant so for £4 i thought it was certainly worth a go. Also in Claires i got some weird and wonderful earrings.

Next stop was Debenhams. I bought a Spa Paradisa Lip butter in 'juicy passionfruit' which smells like the most delicious thing ever! I also got some Items from the Micheal Korrs Very Hollywood collection: the Starlet Rose lipgloss (£15) and Starlet Peach lipstick (£16). Both absolutely beautiful.

At Debenhams Estee Lauder is on bonus time, so i got all this stuff free as well :)

And them at H&M i was a very happy bunny when i spotted this Hello Kitty top, and a cool diamond print vest, and a nice spring coloured bag from matalan.

And lastly i got a lovely new phone, which means much better quality pictures, yay!

A little review of Primarks Whiplash Volume & Curl Mascara...

I was in Primark the other day having a nose around when i saw a huge stand jam packed full of their new product: a mascara offering volume and curl. I've never ever tried any of the Primark make up, but for some reason chucked it in my basket out of curiousity. For £2 it was no big loss if it was rubbish (which i was fully expecting).

Which is why i probably should eat my words because shockingly i'm really impressed with it! It does create huge volume, and a nice curl. It lasts all day, doesn't smudge, and is easy to remove. How can this be! I don't understand it!

So, although you can feel the formula obviously isn't as good as the high end brands, this mascara can definitely give the high street brands a run for their money. A nice suprise and compete and utter bargain- i would recommend giving this one a try.

A Little Review Of Pure Kajal Eyeliner...

This eyeliner intrigued me because of it's unusual shape.The packaging is really nice and chunky which is nice and comfortable to use. The product itself is very soft, and smooth-a kind of crayon texture.

As an eyeliner, personally i found this of average quality because of its cone shape it makes acurate or sharp lines near impossible. But! using this as a kind of shadestick it works really well, and it's also a really good liner for the waterline.

A problem will be once it's been used for a bit it's going to be a huge flat crayon, as it can't be sharpened.

So overall although i quite liked this eyliner it was for all the wrong reasons!

Another spree

(Firstly, apols for terrible picture quality.Top of my shopping list is a new camera)

Pop Beauty lip lust in Flirty Fuschia £3.49.

I made my order on Sunday night and it arrived at my door this morning, and i also got an email yesterday to confirm the items were posted, so overall great service-i'll definately be going back for more things!

At the weekend i also picked up a load of bits and pieces from Primark, i particularly love the sparkly bow earrings.
